AMIE Course Non-diploma Scheme

AMIE Degree Course and AMIE Diploma Course are different from each other in terms of both admission policy and the number of subjects in section A. Those who have scored a minimum of 45 % marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English of higher secondary can apply for AMIE Degree Course. The total 19 subjects should compulsorily be completed by the students of AMIE Degree Course as mentioned above. The subjects in section A are about the basics of engineering and therefore they are mandatory to the students of AMIE degree course.

The syllabus for AMIE Degree Course is not comprehensively commensurate with AMIE syllabus for Diploma holders.

AMIE Course For Diploma Holder

AMIE Diploma Course (Diploma Scheme) is another amiable version of AMIE engineering. Those who have completed 3-years diploma in any branch of engineering can take advantage of AMIE Diploma Course. The AMIE syllabus for diploma holders (students of Diploma Scheme) is different from that of degree course.

In AMIE syllabus for diploma holders, they only need to study 4 subjects out of the 10 of section A. The least number of subjects is what academicians consider as the gravitational pull of the AMIE Diploma Course. The subjects are a continuation of the basics of engineering which they have already acquired in their 3-years diploma course. Moreover, all other subjects in AMIE syllabus for diploma holders are more digestible as the basement of engineering is already deep-rooted in them.
