AMIE Flexible Admission Policy
AMIE features a much greater degree of flexibility, reliability and transparency in all the steps of its academic implementation. Gaining admission to institutes of engineering is always considered nightmarish. This is where AMIE wins against the others. The flexibility is evident in all the disciplines of engineering. As against the regimented and stringent admission policy of B.Tech/BE, AMIE is far too flexible and lenient. In order to gain AMIE Admission, the candidates need not attend entrance exam or undergo any kind of screening. Although they should have met either of the following basic requirements:
- Scoring a minimum of 45 % marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English of higher secondary
- Completing 3-years diploma in any branch of engineering
Candidates who have met either of the above-mentioned qualifications can apply for AMIE, i.e. those who have scored 45 % marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English of higher secondary can apply for AMIE Degree Course and those who have completed 3-years diploma in any branch of engineering can apply for AMIE diploma course.
